How to Start a Personal Fundraiser on Instagram?

If you would like to raise money for a personal cause, your small business, a friend, or any cause important to you, starting a fundraiser on Instagram might help you raise those funds. Personal fundraisers are not available everywhere though.

To start a personal fundraiser, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Receive approval .

To start a fundraiser using the Instagram app:

Step 1 – Select your profile photo.

Step 2 – Select Edit Profile, then select Add Fundraiser.

Step 3 – Select Raise Money.

Step 4 – Choose a photo, possibly one from previous posts or your camera roll, that can help serve as a visual representation of what your fundraising goal is or any photo you may help bring people to your fundraiser.

Step 5 – Add a title, acceptable currency, a category that works for your specific fundraiser, and a description.

Step 6 – Select Next and Done.

After being approved, the fundraiser will run for 30 days.
